The iconic voice of Peter Steele as lead singer in Type O Negative.  A Brooklyn boy who made it big, or a least had a significant impact on music in the 90s, and I for one bought the album.

At towering 6ft 8in he must’ve been an intimidating presence on stage and his voice gave him significant fame.

Unfortunately, he had a significant drug addiction, most likely to his sudden rise to fame, and that haunted him in his later years.

He was a heart warrior and was taken from the World in 2007 due to heart failure.  Although he was a devout atheist, he converted to Catholicism in 2003 and turned to God in the last few years of his life.
