Where were you in 1984 when this masterpiece was released by Lionel Ritchie?

I cannot remember where I was, I just remember hearing the song most places I went – obviously, it was streaming on the radio as CDs weren’t really that popular, and I did not have a cassette player either.

We were stuck with the radio, trying to find cool music on the wilderness of FM frequencies and static noise.  Well, my parents didn’t have access to MTV either, and something tells me they were not interested in that nonsense.

Something drew me to this tune.  It must’ve been the “amazing” music video and its love story it was telling.
