I know this is a cover of the auld classic performed by the late Luke Kelly (although it was written and performed by the Behan brothers).  Damien and Glen’s version is almost as powerful as the original.

The story is about prison in Dublin’s Mountjoy Prison and tells the story he day a convict is set to be executed.

I love these old trad and Irish songs, as they all tell stories from a time long gone.
