Well, we experienced all kinds of weather during the past week. All seasons were crammed into 5 days, ranging from freezing (-2 Celcius) to warm (22 Celcius)—a perfect recipe for a nice cold. Fluctuating weather and temperatures make it very hard for the kids to decide what clothes to wear.
They might start with shorts and t-shirts when leaving the house, only to come home with blue knees and wet clothes as there was a sudden cloud invasion, dropping temperature, and heavy rain.
The Thai chicken meatball dish and the Saigon Noodles were not a success. They were rather bland and left us wanting more flavors, and I doubt they are coming back any time soon.
You can nuke the food in the microwave or slowly defrost it on the kitchen counter. Once defrosted, you heat it gently on the stove or in the oven. Easy school dinners.
This week I’ll spend more time on the Traeger, less baking, and an opportunity to support the local PTA as they host a dinner at Bubbakoos.
We have reduced our visit to local restaurants and spend more time cooking together, experimenting with over-the-fire cooking on my Breeo fire pit, and enjoy the warmer days and evenings.

Have a fantastic week my friends. I hope you enjoy theses meal plans. It is so much easier to make food in advance, although you need to invest several hours during the weekend to prepare the meals.
