Do you know who Lazarus was?

Lazarus was a very close friend of Jesus and the brother of Martha and Mary. Jesus had a close relationship with the three of them and was saddened when he learned that Lazarus had passed away due to a serious illness.

Jesus went to the location where Lazarus was buried and called up to his father (God), asking and praying for Lazarus to be revived. He asked the people to remove the large stone covering the entrance to Lazarus’ tomb. Jesus shouted, “Rise, Lazarus. Come out!“

Behold, Lazarus appeared in the entrance, still dressed in his deathbed gamins. The crowds who witnessed this felt the awesome power of God. There was no question. Jesus is the son of God.
