Frost, snow, ice, and shivering cold winds. Just a taste of what February is bringing – and more to come. It simply means we need to make more soul and hearty food. Dishes that will kick your immune system into gear.
The kids are off are enjoying a week off school. No early mornings to catch the school bus at 6.30 am. Hopefully, the kids can fend for themselves for both breakfast and lunch. Nevertheless, I will make a few excellent options for them.
One day, I might get so organized that I will link the meals below to my recipes. We can only live in hope!
We avoid using any processed foods. The goal is to have a varied meal plan, although this week we are not having any seafood, but plenty of chicken, and a hearty beef stew.
More baking is needed for the sliders, and I also get the chance to use some of the briskets I made a few weeks ago. Of course, it’s in the freezer waiting for the opportune moment.
Despite the large quantities of snow, I still use my Traeger for preparing various meals.
Bloody hell! I love my Traeger! Food tastes awesome when prepared on the grill. A bit of snow can stop me.
