Christmas (Baby, please come home)

Several artists had performed this song since the early 60s when it was originally released. The song was written by Phil Spector and first performed as a rock song by Darlene Love.

1963 was the year the song hit the airways. Back then, it didn’t make it on the charts in 1963 or 1964. Today it is still not on the top 10 Christmas songs, but it is still a great song.

Mariah Carey sang a great version, but U2 performed a killer version of this classic. It has to be one of the best Christmas songs. It was released around the Rattle and Hum album, so that we might question the boys’ choice of hats.

Enjoy the music video. Time to celebrate a perfect version of a classic tune!
