Back to Work

Happy Monday and hello again my friends.

It has been too long since my last post. I have valid reasons for ignoring you for some days. I took some time off with the family. Sorry!

I’m preparing a lot of great posts covering work, personal and food topics. I hope you get a chance to read them during your busy schedules.

We spent the last week on an awesome stay-cation within NY State. We really wanted to fly somewhere exotic, but didn’t feel like risking anything these days. There was not desire in spending several hours in a confined space with other travelers. One week vacation does not warrant going into self quarantine for 14 days.

The alternative was to drive across states to North Carolina or Virginia. Again, it would still mean spending 14 days in isolation after a week off.

Instead we wanted to see the beautiful locations we have within NY state. We too often focus on other attractions and destinations, abroad or outside the state we live in, and completely ignore all the amazing sights we have in our own backyard.

We jumped in the family wagon and drove 1500+ miles from South to North, and East to West, to explore great sights and towns in NY state.

In the coming days, I will share some of our experiences. I can highly recommend stay-cation. We need to appreciate our own state and country to truly appreciate where we live.
