We’re Not Gonna Take It

Another Wednesday has victoriously emerged from the Georgina calendar, warning us that there are only 15 days to Thanksgiving and a measly 44 days until Christmas. I’m so excited for both these events. We get to spend even more time as a family as if we haven’t spent enough time in confined space for the past eight months.

I’m slightly frustrated with the current clown circus that is happening in the media. It is tearing this great nation apart. Politicians don’t give a hoot about the people. It is all talk they’ve prepared in front of the mirror.

We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

It is mind games. It is a feeble attempt to win the opportunity to rule the greatest country in the World. Politicians do not care how many souls they crush or the lives they destroy. In their minds, they are doing it for the greater good.

I honestly do not care if you vote Democrat or Republican, as long as you vote for the right reasons, and not just because your family has been voting a certain way for decades. Or that you utterly dislike a person.

But, do not take your anger and violence to the streets, forcing others to give you the attention and force others to be submissive to your thoughts. Govern yourself and respect others.

Treat people the way you want to be treated … otherwise, the Twisted Sisters will tell you. We are not gonna take it.

Take a deep breath. We will get through this, and we will survive another four years. Unity and tolerance come from us, the people. We do not need the Government, the politicians, and their clowns to tell us how to respect each other.

We are the people, so let’s act like it!
