Globalization has, in my view, created a void in our history and we are now addicted to status, latest tech gadgets, and fashion.  We have failed in maintaining our local and national values, causing a greater rift in our current political climate.

We can no longer travel to another country to experience their culture, traditions, food, and nature.  It has been spoiled by the globalization.  Going to another country may at first look different, but suddenly you spot all the same brands, large advertising, McDonald’s, fashion, and music.

Let’s slow down a little and find ways to appreciate what we have around us.
